Ms. Beckmann has 10 years of experience in the tourism industry, with one year as the owner of Cross Country Air Safaris, where she is an expert in the area of organizational management, wildlife research and advocacy. Cross Country Air Safaris is a recreation business that provides tourism services.
She worked in the fields of marketing research and consumer behavior in Germany before making the decision to move to South Africa in 1999, to follow her life’s dream of living in the African Bush. She organized and supervised the logistics of Operation Noah’s Ark, a first of its kind air-lift of elephants from South Africa/Botswana to Angola in an effort to revitalize the wildlife of Kissama National Park in Angola. She has also worked as a temporary insurance assistant for GCM Gielisch Claims Management, a manager at The Garden Lodge, and an office manager of Bassair Aviation.
