Und Brigettes-Arrangements. Unterst\u00fctzt durch E-Mails gipfelte es darin, dass ein Elefant an der T\u00fcr stand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ich fange besser am Anfang an. Wir, meine Frau Bev und ich, hatten nicht die geringste Ahnung, nach Afrika zu gehen. Geschweige denn auf einer Safari. Tats\u00e4chlich stand Afrika \u00fcberhaupt nicht auf meiner Liste (\u201eim Zoo kann man die gleichen Tiere sehen\u201c). Und ganz unten bei Bev\u2019s. Aber die Begeisterung ihrer Freundin Ellen war ansteckend. Und die tadellosen Arrangements von Brigette Cross machten alles m\u00f6glich. Nicht der Elefant vor der T\u00fcr, sondern die Flugsafari nach Simbabwe und Botswana. Sie sehen, Brigette lebt in Johannesburg und hat eine Firma namens \u201eCross Country Air Safaris\u201c. Der gro\u00dfz\u00fcgige Einsatz von Fax und E-Mail trug dazu bei, das Ganze zwischen unseren Freunden in Los Angeles, die uns begleiten sollten, Bev und mir in Philadelphia und Brigette in Johannesburg, zusammenzufassen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button has-custom-font-size has-small-font-size\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-background wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.airsafaris.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/There-is-an-elephant-at-the-door-19981.pdf\" style=\"background-color:#f27b21\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">VOLLST\u00c4NDIGEN ARTIKEL LESEN<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It was Ellen\u2019s idea.
